DrankisDank
I just tried to DL this on a school computer, but its not letting me run the jar. Do i need to throw this in an app data folder? if so then I still need some app data.
wabuf
I assume your school runs Windows, so: [*:61jywzgz]Download the 1.9 minecraft.jar to your Desktop or All Users (whatever you have access to) [*:61jywzgz]Open up Command Prompt [*:61jywzgz]WinKey+R, type cmd, hit Enter[*:61jywzgz]Enter the following: copy C:\whatever you have access to\minecraft.jar %APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\[*:61jywzgz]Answer yes to Overwrite..minecraft.jar? (Yes/No/All). Hit Enter And if you wanted to run it from Command Prompt, you would need to tell it where to find the Java library: java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft(All in one line; And, I'm just guessing that your school computers don't have much RAM)
DrankisDank
I could have just put it in appdata manually, I can get to that. Thanks for the long tutorial though! I just need some minecraft appdata now.
