Canga
So to much dismay it looked as if we couldn't find any solid mini game plugins that did not require iconomy installed. However, I think I may have found a solution! Chunk republic tokens! These tokens are completely worthless in everything except mini games. You can't buy anything with these tokens except for a turn at a mini game. EVERY SORT OF TOKEN TRADING WILL BE DISABLED. Tokens will cost 64 red stone Most mini games should cost 1 token You can cash in tokens for a stack of redstone, nothing else. Think of it like an arcade. You pay money to get tokens. With these tokens you win tickets (redstone) See where I'm going?
Seanlawson95
That is a Great idea but what would you use as tokens?
wabuf
Yeah, obviously the whole imaginary or "paper" money hasn't worked in the past. Unless we have a few more kids studying to be economists, that will never completely work. We can come up with an economic item whose sole purpose is a mini-game token. Possibly gold nuggets or something of the sort; something which resembles a token. I like the idea. (: Flashback .. trololol I will be making a 2.0 here for our next RS/trade economy. Canga
I just realized a large flaw in the plan... I just don't see how we'll be able to get plugins like Casino with some iconomy token of the sorts. Edit: Btw it isn't an item it's iconomy money
wabuf
We will be using the physical, item-based features of iConomy instead of CRBs. So PlayerA will need the physical items in their inventory and PlayerB will receive items as payment--at least I think. We've trialed this in the past. Hope everyone is still aware: for any of these economy changes to work, especially item-based, the villager trading ability cannot and will not exist. It is simply too dramatic of a multiplier to be fair. It would quickly devalue everything. Oh: there hasn't been a working build of any Casino plugin since 1.8 (as per Coaster's knowledge). Probably should use Lapis so it doesn't affect Villager trading. (It's a useless item anyways other than being a dye for stuff). And yeah, there's no Casino plugin that's been updated in a while. Try and look for a Vault based plugin. I know this item currency might be too hard for most to understand, but you'll pretty much lose it if you die with it. So you have 300 something in your inventory and you die by means of a skeleton. You've lost 300 and there's no recovering it unless you make it back on time. Since we're switching to item based, I want zero whining when you lose all your money to lava as well.
