Coastercraze
Drop into your server, edit banned-players.txt (I think that's the one) - add their names to it. Remove their names from any whitelist / OPs file. Restart server.
LaZy__Sp00nz27
Unlucky, but an easy situation to start out with would have been (if you would have known what was going to happen) is to not let him on in the first place. Since my brain does not understand server stuff i cannot help you with the different options you have now. Sorry if this was a waste of time
Canga
Drop into your server, edit banned-players.txt (I think that's the one) - add their names to it. Remove their names from any whitelist / OPs file. Restart server. It may not be as easy as that. I'd be a bit more afraid of how he got into my server So, from the facts presented to me I think I may know what happened. He has managed to hack into your router with your ip address. It's probably the most common type of hacking because it can be done with anyone that has google. Now, if this is the case, type your static ip into your search bar and try to log in into your router, if the password is changed then, he ip hacked you. You'll need to force restart your router, and make a new password pronto. (look for more help on this topic in google if the sentence above is true) Note: only do that if you can not login to your network Hope I could help, and I hope I'm right.... There is a stupid program ( that shall not be named) that allows full access to your server through the web. Oh, and make a stronger password. Something like 10 digits with symbols and things. Somekid295
Well if I ban him again He's just gonna hack back in and DDoS me again

Canga
It is possible he didn't bother to change it. I can't think of any other way someone can get a hold of your minecraft server that quickly.

Mythil
Also, you might want to find out where your server is held. If it's held at your home, just cut power and resetup and reconnect with your friends. Most likely you know them in person or have their email address, or a method to contact them. If your server is hosted somewhere, you probably purchased the domain and control that, so call the company to shut it down. But that is just extreme side. wabuf
If your server is a home server; First, do as Gansta suggested and reset your IP (unplug your router's power for at least 15 minutes so your ISP will detect and change it). Next log into your router control panel and put a network-level password on the control panel. Then--if your router supports it, put a white-list on your ports leaving ports for only web, email and popular games. Be sure to close remote desktop and VNC ports as well as TELNET to stop any and all remote access. List of common ports: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TCP_and_UDP_port_numbers You really should google this stuff XD Yes, this will be good exercise for your Google-fu. Also, your Minecraft and other passwords may have been compromised. Change those passwords, pronto! http://strongpasswordgenerator.com/
Canga
100 character password ftw.
Coastercraze
Also, just unplug the router AND modem for about 30 seconds. Re-plug 'em in. You should get a new IP. If you have a static IP, then well, call your ISP and say someone is attacking you on it and they should change it.
