crimson_music
Right, so I'm trying to set up a minecraft server. I've got the entire server set up except for one thing. PORT FORWARDING. I have watched every youtube tutorial I can find but to no avail. I'm a Mac with an Apple Router so if anyone can help me it would be MUCH appreciated. THANKS!!!! wabuf
I'm on a Mac as we speak, but I do not have an Apple router. I would assume they're fairly similar in function as my friend was able to hack his to use for a wireless bridge (Chris "pies01"). Just log into your router's control panel--however you go about doing that, then find the area where you control port assignments. Once you've found the port assignment sort of screen, knock yourself out and be sure to use the proper minecraft '25565' port. Then the address outside players would query would be YOUR.IP.ADDRESS:25565.
